Our mission priorities:
Safety, Durability, Comfort,
Conservation,
and Economy.
Of the above priority values,
Safety (1)
and Durability (2) override
all other values. If your home
is not safe
and durable, nothing else
matters! Indoor air quality has
a profound
effect on the overall safety
and durability of your home.
Natural gas
appliances, while potentially
highly efficient and economical,
can -in
certain circumstances
-represent a potential source
of carbon monoxide
and moisture pollution
in your home. Other sources of
potential
air pollution threaten your
home as well. Building materials,
furnishings,
carpet, improper habits
and practices all have the potential
of undermining
the safety and
durability of your home. A properly
designed
and operated home should
be both safe and durable. Our
number one
priority is to make sure your
home is safe and durable.
3rd: You should be comfortable
in your home.
There is no reason your
home needs to compromise comfort
in the pursuit
of the other four
priorities. A home with quality
indoor air,
proper moisture levels, air
sealing (in the right places!),
efficient
and safe heating and
ventilating appliances is your
best guarantee
of being comfortable in
your home.
4th: While many people identify
energy cost
savings as their number
one priority, we like to say
Conservation
is a priority in its own
right, and one we ought to be
willing to
invest in for its own sake.
Ultimately, reducing energy consumption
and
demand, is the answer to
high energy costs and the growing
concern
global warming.
5th: Economy, or cost savings,
is our final
priority. You would not
want to sacrifice safety, durability,
comfort
or conservation in pursuit
of cost savings, but a properly
designed
and operated home optimizes all
five of these values. Our goal
is to help
you find the ways to achieve
them. |
